It was a long walk from the lift (not a problem) but corridor is very dark. After easy arrival and check in we were given a room on the 20th floor of the pyramid. Having been to Vegas years ago, I did think the Luxor was more of the prestigious hotels. Trip was booked through an agent so we didn't specify this hotel. There is a discount on food, parking, and rooms.…ĭisappointed to say the least. The casino is alright… The buffet is brunch only! If you happen to be military highly suggest using your military benefits here. Also, should you travel with children, there is no allergy free option. I paid $22 for a cheese steak sandwich with a handful of fries. The food at the Luxor is crazy expensive. Be careful of the shower it is very slippery!!!! Also there are no USB plugs in the room. There were lots of fresh towels and recently cleaned. Not sure why there wasn’t one and it made the room feel very low budget. The room itself was small with no fridge or coffee maker. Luckily we had a seasoned front desk worker who was very helpful. The process was quite slow for the amount of open desks and people working. Once our bags were unloaded, we entered the lobby and was greeted by a very long line of people waiting to check in. We pulled a parking ticket and found lots of parking without issue. We drove from LA to LV and found the self parking easily. The room rates seemed cheap in comparison to other hotels. We decided to stay at the Luxor as it was a softball team choice of locations to stay.
